2005: Year in Review

Date: Dec 26, 2005

Looking back it has been a fairly interesting year. I started the year off sick in bed, arguing with a girlfriend who was drunk and 2-hours ahead; in fact I never saw her in 2005. From that point it could only get better.

After 7 years at my job, I finally called it quits in February. I traveled to New York to see The Gates. To Japan to see the cherry blossoms and I'm still not sure why I went to Spain, but Gaudi's architecture will bring me back for sure. All this within the first 6 months.

The second half of the year was a lot more mundane, but I did move up to San Francisco started a new job, which I suppose is already an old job; Completed two half-marathons (SF in July, SV in October), which unfortunately doesn't count as a full; Met some new friends and even sold a couple of prints. I now find myself once again voluntarily unemployed and about to start my next round of travels.

Next stop: Australia for New Year's; a new continent seems like a good place to start a new year. Unfortunately, I feel a cold coming on.

Now that you are almost asleep reading about my year; I give you this important link to help you calculate when to stop drinking your favorite caffeinated drink: Death by Caffeine; 120 cups of coffee will do me in.
