A Busy Two Weeks
It’s been over two weeks since I last posted and I’ve been busy. I moved up to San Francisco and all the joys that come along with moving. Plus I started a new job, a 6-month gig doing some internet/software consulting stuff.
A side benefit to living in the city is that I'm close to the Sutro Tower, which doesn't sound that exciting but it allows me to pick up what it broadcasts: HDTV, baby! For just a few bucks I got an indoor antenna and an HD-receiver (my TV was HD-ready) and now I'm receiving over the air HD broadcasts, for FREE. Even the non-HD programs look better than cable, and the HD shows, oh baby, wide-screen and gorgeous.
I hope I don't find myself watching more crap because it's so pretty; such as all those ABC sitcoms broadcast in HD. How come crappy George Lopez and Jim Belushi shows are in HD but my Giants on KTVU isn't!?

Thankfully we have a nice long weekend ahead of us, my company also gets Tuesday off and I get my new couch delivered on Wednesday, woo hoo! The patio furniture can be moved back to the patio.
Hopefully I can get to the pile of film I need to scan; plus I've got a bunch of photography and site ideas to play with.
And if I start to feel too stressed sometimes I just Poke the Penguin
