Polls Schmolls
Now do any of the polls really mean anything? Showing one single number, Bush favored 53% over Kerry (or vice-versa) doesn’t really explain what’s going to happen in November. It is much easier for the media to broadcast a single number but remember, it’s the electoral vote that’s important. If the majority of Americans favor Bush, as they did Gore in 2000, that does not mean he will be elected.
Here’s a site with a pretty good map of how the electoral votes look to be shaking out, which gives the most accurate prediction of what will happen on November 2nd.
