I've built several pinhole cameras previously. One out of a shoebox, which I loaded photographic paper into and was a one shot deal then reload again in the dark. I've also made my 35mm camera into a pinhole using the body cap. This turned out pretty soft.

After checking out nyclondon's series Paris through a pinhole, I was motivated again to try pinhole photography. This time I got a pre-made 4x5 pinhole camera and bought a polaroid back for it. I should've bought a used back instead of new, but I was in New York at B&H Photo and just wanted to get everything.

I discovered Pinhole and Polaroid film don't work too well together, particularly color polaroids. The whole reciprocity thing, the longer the exposure the longer the exposure.

So I finally picked up a 6x6 roll film back, I decided to go with 120 roll film since I have the setup to develop, scan and handle that type of film already. I'm interested in getting a 4x5 sheet film back, but need to get setup first.

Here's a little web calculator thing I made to help me calculate pinhole exposures, which is what those stickies on the top of the cameras are.
