My Take on Apple+Intel
Wow! I can’t believe all the hubbub the Apple+Intel deal is generating. I don’t care too much about the whole thing, I can still do everything today that I did yesterday.
My take on it all is that everyone was loving Apple too much. The press had nothing but good things to say, iPod sales were going great, the new OS has kudos coming out of its wazoo. Jobs couldn't handle all of this positive energy. He needed to bring back all the doomsayers. Apple has always seemed to do best and be most creative when everyone says they're doomed.
Apple is dead.
Long Live Apple.
