Some encouraging words of hope from Barack Obama’s address at the Democratic National Convention.
Hope in the face of difficulty.
Hope in the face of uncertainty
The audacity of hope.
In the end, that is God’s greatest gift to us, the bedrock of this nation. A belief in things not seen. A belief that there are better days ahead.
I believe that we can give our middle class relief and provide working families with a road to opportunity.
I believe we can provide jobs to the jobless, homes to the homeless, and reclaim young people in cities across America from violence and despair.
I believe that we have a righteous wind at our backs and that as we stand on the crossroads of history, we can make the right choices, and meet the challenges that face us.
Photo blogging… it’s all the rage now. Mine is in development, still working on a few things, like a good idea, before I publish anything.
But check out some of my favorites, I’ll only include three for now to give you time to digest all their work. These guys inspire me to do something better:
- chromogenic.net - I don't want to pick favorites, but if I did... Justin Ouellette shoots in all film, no digital, though media to me isn't all that important, it is refreshing to see film ain't dead yet especially with many young photographers adopting it.
- Redrick deLeon's site 990000.com has numerous sections, a book format, which I love, the relating of two separate images together creates interesting mini photographic stories. His photolog appears to be new and growing too.
- David J. Nightingale's chromasia.com is another daily photo blog worth checking out. How do they keep up the quality and continuous posting? kudos!
